Are Your Marketing Strategies Reaching Consumers who Seek Deals?

by | 1 minute read

In these tough economic times, more consumers are looking to save money when they purchase goods and services. Recent polls indicate where consumers are most like to search for coupons:

  • Online 55%
  • Direct mail and catalogs 46%
  • Discount books 38%
  • TV 18%

Just over 1/3 of consumers say their use of coupons and other discount techniques increases during recessions. Slightly more women than men use coupons. And when they’re shopping online, consumers are also likely to share information with other online shoppers.

If you’re working with clients who want to reach consumers, suggest a coupon program that extends both online and offline.
