IT Management Trends for 2009

by

According to Enterprise Management Associates, IT (information technology) service companies can leverage the existing business environment to develop new revenue streams. The company recently listed a dozen emerging issues for the IT industry. The following three trends could have positive implications for any of your clients who may be selling hardware and software in the b to b market.

  • Increased video traffic on networks will nudge companies to update underlying networks to handle the load.
  • Solid State Disk products used in data centers contain new must-have technology that will prompt businesses to spend.
  • Threats of organized cybercrime and ongoing concern about virtualization security may also cause business owners to increase spending.
