Video! AE Prospects by Month to Engage Local Bridal Shop

Hi. I’m Doug Lessells. On behalf of everyone at SalesFuel, we welcome you to this month’s featured Sell SMARTER! Award – where we honor excellence in media SALES.

Account Executive Jessica Davis knows the wedding market in Louisville, Kentucky is FIERCE. After selling for Spectrum Reach for more than five years, she UNDERSTANDS the competition small business owners face, especially when ENTERING the market. One such new business was on her RADAR. She remembered a bridal boutique had recently opened on her turf.

“The new bridal shop is very nice and in a trendy part of town,” Davis said. “The owners just opened about ten months ago and have very nice gowns to offer.”

However, they decided to open their store VERY close to one of the already-POPULAR bridal shops in town.

Davis used AdMall to focus on the WEDDING and BRIDAL category. And with the help of her account planner, Leanne Dedow, she prospected for new business using AdMall’s Top Prospects by MONTH.

Davis explained: “I drafted an email to the new business regarding a LOCAL OPPORTUNITY on TLC’s ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ show and was able to score an APPOINTMENT, and within TWO weeks got a SPOT PRODUCED and on the AIR!”

Davis relied on her local producer from Spectrum’s in-house creative agency, Kernal, to shoot beautiful footage at the store – with bride models who Davis described as VERY authentic. And she should KNOW! Both Jessica and Leanne got married shortly after the campaign began! The bridal shop owners signed on for a $1,000 per month commitment JUST on TLC in ONE zone. Davis is looking forward to selling them on additional opportunities coming UP with TLC.
