Are Auction Sites Poised to Grow?

In last Tuesday's blog, I mentioned that liquidators are expected to push excess product inventory to a number of places, including auction sites. This general trend means that auction sites, as the next stop in the supply chain, will need to market their goods. And as a result of general growth targets, at least one auction site, eBid.net, recently announced its intentions to increase marketing efforts in the U.S. eBid.net plans to connect with U.S. auctioneers and encourage them to begin using its array of services which includes enhanced listing capabilities, sales tax calculators, and other tools which assist these small business owners in meeting their own growth targets.

eBid.net and other online auction  companies may be looking for exciting new ways to marketing themselves online and offline. Is there anyone in your agency who should take another at  how you could service the online auction industry?
