Marketing the Right Details to Increase Restaurant Sales

Is there anything you can do to help your restaurant accounts increase sales? According to Technomic, consumers are looking for specific features when they're dining out:

Flexibility — 58% of consumers want the freedom to substitute menu options and 29% are happy ordering appetizers for meals

Ethnic menus — Offer consumers foods they won't or can't cook at home. The most popular ethnic menu offerings are Mexican and Asian.

Convenience — Make it easy for consumers to know what the restaurant offers by dressing up the Web site and make sure that the 38% of consumers who worry about parking know that there's a spot for them to pick up their take-out orders.

Review the marketing currently in place for your restaurant accounts. Whether they're offering a quick-serve or fine dining experience, marketing the details that consumers are looking for will boost sales.
