Marketing to Beer Drinkers

Just in time for the fall football and homecoming season, The Media Audit has released its latest statistics on how to reach the beer drinker demographic. An Anheuser Busch survey reports that beer drinkers are comprised of 70% men and 30% women. Media Audit points out that heavy beer drinkers, those who consume the beverage at least six times in a two week period, tend to be more along the lines of 80% male and 20% female. These consumers comprise 6.2% of the US adult population and in general they are heavier than average users of radio, outdoor billboards and the Internet.

Share this data with your brewers and wholesale accounts who are trying to increase sales.
