As the number of single U.S. adults continues to grow, the demographic is becoming a key target for marketers. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the number of men and women living alone or in non-family households increased 78.7% since 1970 to 33.6 million households in 2012, or more than one-third of total U.S. households. Single adults are highly likely to use advanced mobile devices.
