Hands-Free Legislation Results in Growing Opportunity

by | < 1 minute read

Manufacturers and retailers of mobile communications devices are finding new markets to sell to as a result of increased hands-free legislation. It’s now illegal talk on your mobile phone in CT, NJ, NY, CA and WA unless you’re using a device that allows hands-free communications.

Wharton School professor John Zhang recommends that manufacturers combine selling messages with information that helps consumers comply with obeying the law. Some states have specific hands-free laws for teens and another set of laws for adults.

Whether it’s wired or wireless headsets, speaker phones or technology that’s built into consumer autos, this market is set to grow. Your clients can increase sales by combining a marketing message with educational tips.
