Matthew Sobol has two years as an account executive at Spectrum Reach after he switched positions from being a social media manager. 

Being new to media sales, he knew he could rely on AdMall for assistance in the transition to his new role, especially when working with a potential new e‑commerce retailer that sells personalized candles. 

This was a new client that I started working with during the COVID-​19 pandemic,” said Sobol. “We first spoke the last week in June and we closed by July 1.” 

After speaking with them, I pulled an AdMall Local Account Intelligence report for e‑commerce retailers in North Carolina, as well as an AudienceSCAN of e‑commerce shoppers. The business itself was rather new and the demand wasn’t very high. The main challenge? Raising awareness.” 

He adds, “AdMall was crucial in finding the best advertising method, content to advertise and in setting expectations for which months we should expect the most growth.” 

From there we started heavy on TV since it had the second highest advertising response in that audience and began search engine marketing as well. I saw that the audience in North Carolina is highly receptive to news reports and with COVID-​19 in full swing, we added a news Sponsorship in the Charlotte market to get a higher frequency.” 

Total for the ad campaign to date is $72,000 and if the ROI holds up, Sobol says there’s room for growth.
