Cota Walls, from the Statesville Record & Landmark, used her savvy selling skills, with the help of AdMall, to convince a local plumbing business to pull the plug on their current advertising agency.
Specifically, Walls used the multiple trend sections of AdMall’s Digital Audit to show the owner where to better allocate his digital spending.
“[With the Digital Audit] I can help customers better understand trends and where they are lacking or where they need to make changes in the digital marketing space,” said Walls.
Prior to this, the owner had been paying a flat fee to an out-of-state company to manage his advertising. Possibly because of this impersonal, long-distance relationship, the business was suffering from low web traffic and a less than stellar Google Adwords campaign.
“I was able to generate a much better Adwords campaign for the customer based off the information AdMall was able to provide me with,” said Walls.
In addition to Adwords, Walls sold the client her company’s Reputation Services as well. The final amount for the sale came to $4,000 a month, for a total ad spend of $48,000. Apparently, the results were swift.
Walls reports that, “The client is ecstatic. His business is growing, and he immediately noticed a difference in the amount of quotes/new business being booked as soon as we took over the campaign.”
