Challenge: Creating awareness for the newly passed bill on health care worker safety training

Karl Szymanski, an account executive for A4 Media, had only been using AdMall for three months when he approached a local client looking to create an ad campaign centered around a state bill that passed requiring health care worker safety training.

The client trains health care centers on workplace safety and violence,” said Szymanski. “Most medical facilities had no clue there was a bill being passed that required workplace safety in all doctors’ offices, but also didn't know how to get in front of the audience looking for that.”

Solution: Turn to AdMall’s local account intelligence reports

The reason Szymanski went to his client with the health care worker safety training campaign in the first place was because he had done some digging in the local account intelligence report and learned of a lack of workplace safety trainers. These findings coincided nicely with the timing of the new legislation that had been passed.

I pulled a local account intelligence report to gather more information and statistics on them and their industry,” said Szymanski. “AdMall allowed me to figure out a consultative approach to reach out to client and speak to them as if I am an expert in their field.”

I also used the intelligence report to close the deal by showing them similar industries they could compare themselves to and provide them with details on what they should be spending on advertising. I found the data AdMall pulls the most beneficial in this sale because I was able to pull from three different but similar industries.”

Result: A huge sale for a new AdMall user

It didn’t matter that Szymanski had only recently started using AdMall. With the research he found, he was able to close a $24,000 CTV, OTT, and display campaign centered around health care worker safety training.

While it’s too early to know the results of the campaign, Szymanski did have a simple recommendation for any other new AdMall users looking to get the most out of the product.

I would recommend people use it to gather info before calling a client they have not talked with, rather than going into a call blind,” said Szymanski.

AdMall’s Local Account Intelligence Report is available for over 400+ business types and provides a myriad of research from the local, state and national level. It is the baseline report a rep should run before their first sales call that will put them on a level playing field with a potential client.

Everything from market demographics, consumer spending, marketing/budget figures, top products sold, industry challenges and opportunities, and more can be found in this report. More About: Training Services, Corporate Trainers

Businesses in this industry offer general leadership or manager training, or they may specialize in delivering a specific type of content such as sales or IT training. These businesses may operate as standalone centers with classrooms where students are trained. These services also place trainers onsite to teach employees.

Content can also be delivered online and on demand. These businesses target other small and medium-sized businesses as well as government agencies.

These businesses may compete with computer and software retailers that offer training services. There is also competition with community and other colleges that may offer a computer training curriculum.

An increase in the number of high school graduates attending college typically corresponds to a decline in the number of students studying at industry institutions. Companies may also maintain their own in-house training services.

The outlook for this industry indicates growth at lower levels than general economic growth. However, employers may opt to outsource some tasks so training companies may need to market to other clients such as employment agencies in order to reach potential students.

In addition, as students graduate from public schools with sufficient training on computer applications, the need for training may shift to other types of education such as sales or company-specific onboarding.
