Lunch at Work – A Growing B to B Market

Consumers have long known that dropping by the salad bar at the local supermarket is a way to grab a quick, inexpensive and healthy lunch. Now one grocer is offering healthier alternatives to workers at the office. FreshDirect has launched its new program, FreshDirect at the Office, in New York and New Jersey.  Office workers will have the option of purchasing healthy prepared meals from vending machines placed in office buildings.

The program is being backed by an online marketing and information campaign to consumers but being sold to employers who want to offer additional employee benefits.

Are your grocery clients looking for new ways to sell their prepared foods? Discuss this B to B concept with them and explore the marketing possibilities.
