Challenge: Helping a company understand the HVAC digital marketing space
Devin Burtley, an account executive at KXRM, has been on the job for a little over two years. In that time, he has been able to show how AdMall can assist a local business in understanding the ins and outs of the HVAC digital marketing world.
“The owner of [the company] has been working in the HVAC industry for his entire life, following his dad,” said Burtley. “He is very direct and likes to understand ‘why’ we would recommend specific tactics.”
“When I initially reached out, they were happy with just word-of-mouth business. Now, they are wanting to expand and compete in the [local] HVAC market.”
Solution: Highlight effective HVAC digital marketing methods
“I used AdMall to show that the peak interest months were September and the peak sales months for their industry were June and August,” said Burtley. “Using this knowledge, I set the campaign to start in August, emphasizing the importance of starting to market during their peak seasons to beat out their competition.”
“I also used AdMall to showcase that the top advertising media used was Facebook and Google Ads. They were currently already doing Facebook, so we sold them a Google Ads campaign along with some weather-targeted banner ads.”
Result: A big win and a client now expanding their reach
At the time of submission of his win, Burtley already had a positive update for the $21,600 HVAC digital marketing sale.
“We are currently in the first month of the campaign…[but, I’m] hearing that their web traffic increased, along with their calls coming in,” said Burtley”

More About: HVAC Dealers
These businesses sell and install new heating and cooling systems for the residential and commercial markets. During new construction and renovation projects, these contractors may also install new piping, duct work and sheet metal for heating/cooling/ventilation systems. In addition, these dealers may sell service contracts to homeowners. Because of the increased sophistication of heating and cooling units, including digital parts, these contractors typically have some technical school education, a two-year college degree and/or certification.
Specifically, there are approximately 140,000 HVAC contracting businesses in the United States, reporting revenue of $126.4 billion.
