Challenge: Lead a personal injury attorney rebranding against higher spending competitors
Nick Roes, an account executive for Bonneville Media, had only been on the job for three months when he came across a personal injury attorney rebranding its law firm. Roes felt he could help.
“The business is a personal injury firm,” said Roes. “He is from the area but went to law school in Massachusetts. He loves working with his clients and specializes in motor vehicle accidents and medical negligence.”
“They are trying to compete with law firms that spend millions of dollars in the market each year, as well as wanting to rebrand, and build his own name within the next five years.”
Solution: Turn to AdMall’s Local Account Intelligence Report
Roes, though new to AdMall, had been trained internally and knew he could turn to AdMall’s Local Account Intelligence Report for help. He wanted to be able to present an effective, knowledgeable pitch to help the personal injury attorney’s rebranding effort.
“Using insight from the 'Know the Opportunities' section of the Local Account Intelligence Report on personal injury attorneys, I was able to set up a CNA (customer needs assessment,”) said Roes.
“We sold radio advertisements. He has a sponsorship with our traffic text line with name ID and live mentions. We sold thirty-second commercial spots for him on our news talk station. As well as live mentions after-traffic reports on-air and banners of his firm on our website traffic page.”
Result: A big sale and happy client
The personal injury attorney rebranding was a success. According to Roes, the owner feels more people are visiting him due to his on-air features and the quality of cases has increased.
“It was traditional radio sale but included in the package was some digital display on our website,” said Roes.
In the end, the personal injury attorney rebranding campaign amounted to a total of $157,560.
Roes has suggestions for any other sales reps looking to use AdMall to close their next sale.
“Sometimes we get in ruts trying to find new clients, and in those moments it's helpful to just think of a category that has appeal to us, go to AdMall, and find the trending areas for that service,” said Roes. “After that, looking into those cities and finding businesses in that category that you've never thought of or heard of before. It makes locating new prospects so easy.”

More About: Personal Injury Attorneys
Personal injury attorneys represent consumers who have experienced injury or wrongful death because of accidents, medical malpractice or other mishaps. They often work on a contingency basis which means they only earn money if they are successful in negotiating a settlement with the defendant or in winning a lawsuit. Most personal injury claims are settled before the case goes to the courtroom. Personal injury law is almost always considered civil law versus criminal law, which involves defendants who face jail time.
The personal injury sector of law generates about $57.3 billion in annual revenue and includes nearly 49,000 businesses.
